Doug Liman: 1 line career ×1

  1. career (career): Doug Liman → American Made. American Made is the good, messy one Liman made right after Edge.
    “American made, which is good.”

Edge of Tomorrow: 1 line career ×1

  1. career (career): Edge of Tomorrow → American Made. Edge is the end of the run where Cruise looks like an aged-well human; by American Made he looks 'nuts'.
“This is the end of that run.”

Narcos: 1 line unmapped ×1

  1. unmapped (overlap): American Made → Narcos. American Made's plot already played out in Narcos, so it narrowcasts to an audience that did not need it.
“that the plot of that movie is just in narcos.”
The Big Picture · The Tom Cruise Hall of Fame · 0:36:27 · Chris Ryan (0.40 sure it was them)

Tom Cruise: 1 line verdict ×1

  1. verdict (verdict): Tom Cruise → American Made. Cruise's age in American Made (a 56-year-old playing a younger pilot) was too distracting.
“He's playing a pilot in the 80s and he's got this weird wig on and he's 20 years older than the guy he was playing”
