  1. lineage (sequel undoes ending) · through Alien Resurrection (1997), which they were tied to as approached to direct: Alien 3 ⇒ Alien Resurrection (the host's read). Resurrection brings Ripley back as a clone, which undoes Alien 3's chosen death.
“My nuclear take is bringing her back to life as a clone is more disrespectful than killing, uh, hicks and newt in this movie.”
